ADIDAS | Scanned on 16mm
This project was a challenge.
We set out to explore whether AI could power a sports spot that feels real. One with motion, texture, and emotional rhythm.
Every frame of this piece was generated using VEO 3 text to video.
No camera. No set.
But we did not stop there.
After editing, we scanned the entire video onto real Kodak 16mm film stock.
Why? Because if we had shot this in real life, it would have been on film. The energy, the grit, the analog soul. It was asking for it.
But scanning AI footage to physical film is not straightforward.
We had to prep the shots carefully to make sure the grain enhanced the image instead of tearing it apart.
In the end, it worked.
The 16mm scan smoothed out artifacts, masked the usual AI tells, and created a cohesive visual tone that no plugin or filter could replicate.
We are not chasing trends.
We are building a pipeline where AI can speed up production, reduce cost, and still keep the soul of storytelling in human hands.
Everything outside the AI generation — script, direction, edit, color, sound — was shaped by real artists.
Because rhythm, tone, and meaning are human.
This piece is a tribute to adidas, to the legend Thierry Henry, and to Arsenal, a club that defined generations.
If this proves anything, it is that Evotime is already creating AI powered work that can go head to head with traditional production.
Impossible? Not anymore.
